Libby Scobee, a St. Louis native, is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with degrees in both Printmaking and Photography. Her work explores fantasy and otherworldly creatures encroaching into landscapes both manmade and natural. An avid reader, Libby takes a great deal of her inspiration from fiction as well as historical myths. Her work has been included in several group exhibitions including 'The Big St. Louis Print Show', 'Unaddressed' at Fridge Gallery in Atlanta, GA and ‘Wild Things’ at Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley, PA. She was previously a part of Tom Huck’s crew of printmakers at Evil Prints in St. Louis, MO and will be attending Indiana University - Bloomington as a graduate student in printmaking in fall 2019.
